    This piece is a Limited Edition of 500 hand-painted character set-ups recreated from the original artwork from Disney’s classic, The Lion King.  The approximate size of the cel is 11 ¼  X 15 ¼ in.. The cels were created from the animator’s original line drawings, transferred to acetate by a six-step process.  The background scene is recreated by using the original background paintings , sketches and frames from the film as reference.
