This is rare Dunhill Sylphide style lighter, with solid 18k yellow gold for the metal, and seamless Sodalite as the base stone, around the outside of the lighter.
I have had this in my hoarding stuff, for the last 20 years or so, and have never seen anything like it, either on google or ebay.  It is a gas lighter, so I am guessing, it is from the last 50 years or so.  There is a small dent on the top cap, on the edge, and I have never filled this or even put a flint in it, which it needs.
Therefore, I cannot guarantee that it works or hold gas, but most of this style do, once you fill them.  Let me know if I can answer any other questions.  thanks
