    Description

    HERE IS AN ITEM FOR ALL OF THE TRAIN BUFFS OUT THERE.  A VERY HARD TO FIND MIRROR WITH AN OVERLAY FAMOUS TRAINS OF GREAT BRITAIN S. R. "THE GOLDEN ARROW" LONDON - PARIS.  THE MIRROR, WITH FRAME,  MEASURES 19" X 13 3/4".  THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES ON THE MIRROR (OR THE BACK OF THE MIRROR?) THAT I HAVE TAKEN CLOSEUP PHOTOS OF.  WHEN YOU STAND 5 OR 6 FEET AWAY FROM THE MIRROR, ONLY THE ONE ON THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER IS REALLY NOTICEABLE.  THE COLORING ON THE FRONT OF THE TRAIN IS BEGINNING TO FADE.  THE FRAME ITSELF HAS A COUPLE OF DINGS, BUT NOTHING THAT COULDN'T BE DEALT WITH.
    THE GOLDEN ARROW RULED THE RAILWAY BETWEEN 1927 AND 1972.  IT WAS THE BRITISH PORTION OF THE TRIP BETWEEN LONDON AND PARIS, TAKING THE PASSENGERS TO THE FERRY IN DOVER FOR THE TRIP TO FRANCE.  THIS IS A NICE PIECE OF RAILROADIANA.
    THIS IS A RELATIVELY HEAVY PIECE AND WILL NEED SPECIAL PACKAGING.
