This Dramatic Pacific Grove Rocks Seascape Is Professionally Mounted and Beautifully Framed!
It Measures 29 1/4” tall x 35 1/4” wide. The image opening measures 22” tall x 28” wide. It Comes With A Letter Of Authenticity Signed By Diane Brigham The Executive Director of Ryman Arts
The Letter of Authenticity partially reads: “Herb never stopped painting from his travel sketchbooks, and especially from property he owned just south of Carmel, California. He loved, and captured the spirit of the ocean around Point Lobos. The painting (the original is owned by the Buzz Price family) won a California watercolor prize.
Disney Artists And Friends Limited Edition Fine Art Prints. For about a dozen years beginning in the late 1960’s, a group of Disney designers and their spouses, headed originally by Richard Irvine and his wife Ann, raised scholarship funds for art students.
A yearly art exhibit and sale was held: the very first show, featuring the work of Herb Ryman, was held at the Hancock Park home of Disney Legend Harrison “Buzz” Price and his wife, Anne Price. Each year, an artist’s work was reproduced for the event. Now, these very prints, with original signatures by the artists, from those shows in the late 1960’s and 1970’s are available for sale to the public, many for the first time. All proceeds support the students of Ryman Arts."
This Pacific Grove Rocks Seascape is autographed in two locations. The first location is in the crashing sea waves in blue paint within the original watercolor painting and the second signature is in pencil below the large rock at the bottom right that reads: Herbert D. Ryman June 28, 1968
Herb Ryman’s stunning conceptual drawings of Walt Disney’s Disneyland, Walt Disney World & EPCOT have inspired viewers since his very first 1953 drawings of the proposed amusement park.
