Introducing DC3 Series
The DC3 series spin down sediment filter is the first line defense to your appliances. It protects and extends the life of your standard filters by removing the large dirt, sand, and rust particles before they reach the rest of your plumbing system, including water softeners and expensive appliances.
Easy Maintenance
The DC3 series is flushable and reusable. It is recommended to flush it regularly (daily or weekly), depending on the water usage, sediment amount and the hardness level. However, as hardness tends to form hard scale that clogs the screen, simple flushes may not be sufficient. When necessary, remove the stainless steel cartridge and clean it with a brush and/or soak it in vinegar.
Note
Water softeners and whole house systems usually do not lower the TDS level of the water. An additional Reverse Osmosis system may be necessary for your drinking water. Please consult SimPure professionals prior to purchase if you are unsure of which product will meet your needs.

The transparent screen filter bowl is made from a unique formula to enhance the anti-freezing and water hammer resistant capabilities, made from a non-leaching PBA free material that is safe for use with drinking water and does not contain bisphenol-A.

High-quality 316L stainless steel filter screen, dense woven mesh with a 40μm filter pore size to reduce and capture particles larger the 40μm (half the thickness of a human hair!) from entering your home.

The valve head, filter bowl, and filter screen are tested and CERTIFIED by NSF & SGS, safe for use on drinking water. The valve head is made from high-quality Lead-free brass.
★【Pressure Resistant Bowl】
The filter bowl can withstand a burst pressure of more than 725 psi (5Mpa) and has been cycled tested over 150,000 times with no apparent signs of deformation.
★【Flexible installation connections】
The Filter is supplied with both 1" Male NPT, and ¾" Female NPT Brass threaded adaptors for easy connection into your home incoming water supply.
