VTG MID CENTURY MODERN PORTABLE TEAK WOOD BAR CABINET / DECANTERS & SHOT GLASSES

Description

Offered for auction a "VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN PORTABLE TEAK WOOD TABLETOP TRAVEL BAR CABINET / 2 BORMIOLI ROCCO GLASS BOTTLES/DECANTERS & 4 SHOT-A-CHATA GLASSES".  This bar/storage cabinet features doors reminiscent of Saloon doors in the Old West and a contrasting Danish Modern styled transport handle.  There are two oval, silver-toned metal labels on the doors marked "PRIVATE", "STOCK".  This bar can be used on a table top or even wall mounted.  It also has a restrictive Master pad lock with 2 keys to deter unapproved guest. LOL.  There is no maker's mark on the underside, however, I believe Cornwall Wood Products in South Paris, Maine is the manufacturer.  The overall dimensions: Height...15 3/4", Width...12 1/2", Depth...4 3/4".  Included in this bar (2) 12" Italian Glass Bottles/Decanters with chalkboard labels and swing stoppers, (4) 2 1/4" Double Sided Shot Glasses.
Although this is a Liquor Cabinet it has alternative uses.  Example: For non-alcohol users the double-sided shot glasses can hold a modicum of Ovaltine chocolate flavored milk on one side and Nestle's Quik Strawberry milk on the other side.  "It doesn't get any better than that".  Even if you overindulge, there is no chance of a hangover the morning after with that combination, perhaps just a little gas. LOL.
This wood bar cabinet is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with light wear, no chips, scrapes or separations.  The lock hasp and receiver are replacements.  The glass bottles and shot glasses are in excellent condition with no signs of wear.  This set is clean, from a smoke-free home and ready to display or use responsibly.
