You are bidding on a difficult to find Charles Boyer Limited Edition Lithograph created for the Tencennial Celebration of Walt Disney World. Boyer captures the wonderful team of 8 Percheron Horses pulling the beautiful Dragon Calliope with the stunning Cinderella Castle in the background. This Boyer Lithograph has always been considered one of his best.
Charles Boyer started out as a Disneyland portrait artist in 1960. The job was meant to be something temporary, but six months later, Boyer was promoted to Disneyland’s Marketing Department. As Disneyland’s first full-time artist, Boyer did everything in the Marketing Division’s Art Department - design, production and illustration. During his 39 years with Disneyland, Boyer was named the park’s “Master Illustrator” who designed special lithographs, created artwork for magazines and brochures and was also commissioned to paint portraits for retiring employees.
Boyer’s virsatility was the key to his famed Disney illustration titled “Mickey’s Triple Portrait” where Mickey Mouse looked into a mirror, saw his own reflection and then painted the image of Walt Disney! It was Boyer’s wonderful take on Norman Rockwell’s famed self-portrait.

lithographs for collectors and a plethora of
other artwork
that was used for Disneyland brochures
and flyers.
Charles Boyer was known for illustrating
the iconic “Partners” lithograph of
Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse
hand - in - hand.
That image is considered to be the only
official illustration of Walt and Mickey that gives us all
the relative height of Mickey Mouse!
