    Description

    RARE SANTA FE RAILROAD SAFETY AWARD PLAQUE
    Description: Safety Award presented to: Chicago Terminal Division for the year 1961.
    An incredible piece of Railroad history. This may be the only one of its kind. Did it hang in an office or a maintenance facility?
    The plaque measures 15" tall and 12" wide. It also weighs almost 8 pounds. Not sure what kind of metal was used but its heavy!
    Condition: The plaque has only been wiped down with a damp cloth. Black painted wood has some paint loss on the sides.
    There are some scuffs and scratches on the metal. There is also discoloration on the engraved metal portion. The plaque can probably be restored.
